I have been married to my loving husband, John David, since 1996. We knew, after three months of dating, that we were meant for each other. I can honestly say that he, and my three children, are the best and most wonderful gift that God has given me. In my home you will hear a lot of noise, a lot of laughter, and of course, you will hear the piano.
I have been playing the piano since I was in the 7th grade. I remember evenings as a girl, sitting on a chair beside my father as he played. The music seemed to engulf me and I fell in love with the instrument. I started playing for youth group with one finger, then two, and so on. {That brings back laughter!} I then went on to play a second keyboard beside my father at church, still learning. Eventually, I began to play- and teach others to play, and began to lead worship.
I had always dreamed of writing a song. As a young child, I would sing, "Love like a diamond," but I could never finish the made-up song. One night, in 1999, I was singing a song in my dreams. I sang it over and over until finally, when I awoke, I realized I could play and sing it. I know the Lord touched me with His grace and anointing that night, giving me the gift of songwriting; and so many, many songs have since come forth.

This is my prayer for you from Ephesians 3:14-21:
"14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
